I’m a fitness influencer — flight crew threatened to throw away my smelly lunch I brought on a plane

Someone has egg on their face.

Flight attendants allegedly raised a stink after a fitness influencer and Playboy cover model brought a smelly egg-rich lunch into an airplane’s first-class cabin because she was on a strict diet.

“The flight attendant came to talk to me about the smell being bothersome,” Vanusa Freitas, 32, told Jam Press of the odiferous incident, which transpired on an unspecified flight from London to Spain.

The bombshell said she adheres to a “very strict” diet to maintain her ripped figure, which she frequently flaunts to her more than 116,000 Instagram followers.

“I always carry my meal prep with me,” said Freitas (pictured holding up a premade meal). “Everyone who knows me is aware that I follow a strict diet and have a very precise eating schedule.” Jam Press/CO Press Office

That entails eating 250 eggs and more than 30 pounds of sweet potatoes a month, a regimen she maintains by bringing a set number of each in a lunchbox wherever she goes, local media reported.

“This time was no different,” Freitas said while discussing the recent debacle. “I went to catch my flight and, of course, I brought my food already portioned out.”

Unfortunately, the picky eater’s premade spread didn’t sit well with other passengers because her eggs, while certainly healthy, emitted a powerful, sulfurous stench.

She first noticed something was amiss after her fellow flyers started giving her the stink-eye.

“I noticed people giving me strange looks, but I didn’t pay much attention,” Freitas recalled. “It was only when a flight attendant came over that I realized the smell was bothering others.”

She said, “They told me it was too strong, that other passengers were complaining, and they even considered throwing my meal away because of it.”

Despite the uproar, the finicky fit-fluencer said she convinced crew members to let her keep her malodorous meal until the end of the flight.

The content creator, who notably appeared on the cover of Playboy Finland in January, says she refuses to let others’ opinions impact how she lives her life.

“I understand where people are coming from, but it’s complicated,” Freitas said. “I have my lifestyle and need to stick to my diet.

“We need to find a middle ground, right?”

She added, “Maybe I’ll bring something different next time, but giving up my meal prep? That’s not happening.”

Coincidentally, this isn’t the first time Freitas’ has gotten in trouble for bringing her own grub.

Last month, the gym bunny revealed that a man once left her in the middle of a first date when she pulled out a pre-packed lunch at a fancy London restaurant.

“We were in the middle of the date — he got up and left,” Freitas said.
